This is our first look at the upcoming successor to the Insight hatch hybrid. It’s still gonna be a hybrid, but a more mainstream sedan design and is going to be positioned above the Civic and below the Accord. Thoughts?

Looks okay, nothing that’ll stand out. Which to be honest is absolutely perfect for the market, should get buyers who want a hybrid but are scared of the Prius look.

Agree - looks 100% like a new Accord to me with slightly different fascias.
Edit: According to Car and Driver , it’s based off the Civic.

Wait wait wait....so the Accord is now a hatch only, the Crosstour hatch was killed, and the car that was always a hatch is now...a sedan. The fastest shrinking car segment in the world.

I like that they fixed the trim on the rear quarter window instead of the dangly extra bullshit on the Civic and Accord.

It’s between the Civic and Accord because it’s not as disproportionate as the Civic but not as big as the Accord. Fair enough.

The whole side looks like a Chevrolet Impala, the rear looks like a Hyundai Ioniq, and only the front looks truly Honda.

To be clear, I’m talking only about the little trim nonsense on the C-pillar behind the extra side window. The Civic and Accord are mismatched chrome on top and black underneath, and the Accord’s chrome bit sticks out with nothing underneath it. The Insight is chrome all around.
