The worst time to hunt the Pokemons. Caught this Hellcat powered Abra though.

Went downtown after work and MY MOLY what a bunch of morons. Makes me glad I work in the suburbs of the suburbs and barely see any major traffic.

But between the people running lights, not indicating, backing up because they missed a parking spot, driving on the wrong side of the road (an ambulance, but STILL), or blocking intersections because they chose to ignore the RIGHT TURN ONLY 6AM TO 6PM sign because trying to cross 4 lanes of rush hour is a BAD IDEA and they didn’t GAF....

Gah.

But hey, loving the new weather effects in PoGo and the spawns that happen during them. Today it went from clear to cloudy to windy and I caught all KINDS of unusual stuff. Well, unusual for these parts.

They would have been in a gym. When you opened the gym, whether you did anything else or not, if they were in there your ‘dex registered them.

That’s what I figured, but I think I would have noticed them. Especially Mr. Pedo.

BUT, I have been quick-leaving mons in Gyms when driving by, since the game lets you do that.... 60mph, passing a gym, tap once to open it, notice it has room, tap the little add-a-mon icon until it lets you in your storage and (usually) tap on a random mon to leave it in the gym.

If I have them sorted by Recent, it sometimes leaves a low CP shitter in the gym, but hey. Coins are coins.

But yeah, that’s probably how I seent them.

Lucky bastards, getting to hunt Pokemon overseas just to bring them back to tease me via gyms.

I wish I was in a popular area/knew people/had time to do some of the big boy raids. Usually its just the wife and kids and I. Coolest thing I’ve been able to defeat and catch was a Mawile.

I’ve moved a few times but the worst I’ve had to deal with in the burbs of a decently big metro.

Right now I live in Chicago, its not fool proof but its rarely too hard to get the numbers to do any of the raids.

When legendary raids first started we’d see groups at gyms during raids, but the newness of them dropped off, and now that it’s winter it doesn’t seem like anyone wants to be out there. Even the gyms with parking lots within reach aren’t full of idling cars with people illuminated by the glow of their phones anymore :(
