face is 3d printed backed with some mdf. used an aluminum stock pot for the body.

That is sweet! I always feel like the tires are limiting on these things. I wonder if you could 3D print a tire tread pattern that’s just a little bigger than the existing wheel so it would slip over the outside of the current “tread” such as it is.

It looks awesome, though, is that going to be a present for someone in the near future?

yeah we built it for a boy named ashton for christmas. we used to build 10-20 custom power wheels every christmas but this year we only built this one. you can see some of our other rides at facebook.com/plasticinnovations

theres a guy with a bigger printer than us trying to do that now. our printer only prints 8x8x8 so we had to print the face in 4 pieces and epoxy it together
