I’ve gotten away with a “no points” ticket every time I’ve been that honest with an officer.
Officer: “So this is a 35 and you were going nearly 70...where are you going in such a hurry?
Me: Ashamedly “I’m not in a hurry, ya know it’s really nice out and I was...”
Officer: “just crusin huh?”
Me: Yep
Officer: “I appreciate your honesty, so this ticket is only going to hurt you wallet, not your insurance”

More effective than 11-99 foundation plate frames. Oppo stickers will even get you out of tickets issued by cameras. Just tell the clerk at the courthouse “I have an oppo sticker on my car” and they hand you a lighter with which to burn your ticket.

The first time my mom drove my STi she got a speeding ticket for 60mph in a 25mph zone....she was trying to see if the By-Pass Valve made noise in every gear...I guess she got to third before leaving the neighborhood.
