Drowning in bureaucracy. The IT person gave me the wrong login and she’s out until tomorrow. Then I found out I can’t technically access the room 60' away since there’s more paperwork to be signed.
At this rate I won’t be allowed into my office when January rolls around.

I just came from the Drs. After fasting for almost a day I went in to get some bloodwork done only to discover that she never drew up the lab order and the staff couldn’t get in touch with her.
This was after she kept me waiting for 45 minutes after my previous appt was supposed to start.
And that was after I paid out the nose for a completely unnecessary mono lab that my insurance then decided they wouldn’t cover.
I’m looking for a new Dr. Do you know any good ones?

I’d rather them somehow make a controversial comment (not likely considering what they do) then just be flat out banned from being able to talk about it. It stifles research if one isn’t allowed to even talk about findings.

It’s a good day, even better with that 626. First day of my weekend, and I don’t have to be back to work until 6:00 PM Wednesday. I need to do a bit of cleaning and other housework, but I’ll probably fritter away a good chunk of my time zipping around Hawaii in a new flight simulator, catching up on recorded TV I haven’t watched, and sleeping. Seems like the perfect way to spend a few days.

I have always loved the look of the Montrose, but they were relatively rare when new, and most certainly all piles of rust by now.
In college, I had this long running fantasy of restoring a Montrose and making it into a total sleeper: suspension upgrades with stock heights, welding a metal sheet between the trunk and rear seat, and the big kicker, a 20B swap. (Because then when people ask, you say, “well, stock was a Mazda two-liter...yeah, that’s what it has, a Mazda two-liter.”)
