This sort of Cherokee red is my favorite color on this car ...
And won a $10 bet with a guy at work - Mario’s sauce still up at Fairway. I’ll say this - if I don’t make the sauce myself, his vodka sauce is a very good substitute.

Well, lighting is pretty important when it comes to metallic orange paints, I think.
They’re both really nice colors.

I’m a big fan of black. Saw this one this other day and it was fantastic. I do like the orange too though. That orange seems to be a popular plot choice on these - I’ve seen several wearing it.

My problem is that it is not Cherokee Red. Frank Lloyd Wright famously used that red for everything, from the flooring of the houses he built to his own cars, such as this 1941 continental that he modified into a town car/coupe thing:

I have toured many a Wright building, and I know Cherokee Red when I see it. My countertops are Cherokee Red. Alas, this is as close as it gets on a Jag. But from Fallingwater to the house around the corner (Kentuck Knob) to Taliesin to the Johnson Wax Building to the Cheney House (where I spent the night), every time I see the color it’s a bit different. I think my ideal would be a bit duskier, less flashier, but it’s hard to pin down.
