So this morning I woke to #craigslistconvosfromlastnight, having apparently agreed to go look at an SE-R making big claims with a lot of work to be done. Oppo confirmed I wasn’t just being crazy to feel anxious, t’was a crack pipe. And the guy didn’t budge on price.

Then the jalop gods smiled upon me in the form of a newly posted ad for a 99 civic dx hatch, owned by an old Honda guy, who bought it off his neighbor, the original owner. 120k, 5 speed, bone stock, tight as a drum. Needs paint and some exhaust work, as opposed to a new transmission.

Now i have a daily that won’t completely suck.

Paid a little more than that, but it’s super clean and the guy went with me to the dmv to transfer the title and the tabs are good for 12 months, so I figured it was worth it.
