Kinja'd!!!

I didn’t find the pedals, but perhaps those will be available on eBay. Seems like a fairly high-quality unit. Nothing like the fancy force feedback unit I have for the PS3, also from the outlet. If nothing else it’s a good parts donor.

I may be wrong but that looks like a Fanatec model

Of course it’s good quality, it’s from a Ferrari

Would never go back to racing games with a controller after having a decent wheel. Test drive unlimited (1) I can just drive around for hours listening to music and pretend I own millions of dollars of supercars

Never heard of that brand. It does say Thrustmaster on the center of the wheel FWIW.

Fanatec makes pretty high quality “premium” wheels and pedals. Their pedals and shifters in particular are pretty epic in terms of awesomeness.

Have fun with that thing though, any wheel is pretty much universally more fun than a controller.

C’mon man, its not 100 percent that it’ll burst into flames. Don’t jinx him like that.

The wheel on my PC works with Forza 7, but doesn’t really work with Horizon 3. I have my fingers crossed that it’ll work well when Horizon 4 comes out.

Honestly, i love driving around in the horizon games, sort of roleplaying an asshole. Follow the speed limit MOST of the time, drive in first person only, NEVER touch anything with my car or even put one tire off road and try to keep crossing the yellow line to a minimum. When you’ve been driving at the speed limit for a while, a quick trip to 90 or whatever at the redline is suddenly exhilarating again. Your brain also eventually gets used to the new rule of “treat this car like a real car, crashes have (imaginary) consequences” and the game gets much more challenging.

I do that all the time in tdu but I find it hard with a controller because it’s too twitchy
