Turns out 3 larger than stock tires don't fit in a Miata.

So I drove with the top down for 45 minutes in 25 degree weather. Wasn’t that bad actually!

4th tire was in the trunk.

I’ll have to do it again for a few minutes in the morning to get them mounted.

Also I had a cop follow me for about a half mile, then we passed a fender bender that just happened. In was in the middle of the road, so he had to stop. Yay not getting pulled over!

You’re doing it wrong! But then again, top down in cold weather is doing it right, so I guess things cancel out.

(I have no clue if the ND trunk lid opens enough to fit larger tires like this)

I have no straps and didn’t even plan on doing this today. A hat would of been nice.

My method for fitting 4 stock sized tires in my NA is 2 in the front seat, 1 on the parcel shelf, and 1 in the trunk.
