I always thought “mans not hot” was an insult. Like saying the girl boyfriend wasn’t cool, aka “not hot”. But in the version he expands on ththe idea and says he always wears his coat because he’s to “cool”. So basically “mans not hot” means he doesn’t get scared or angry, he’s so chill he has to wear a coat all the time.
