You really are! And I welcome you to my country! But please for the love of god talk about the bad stuff too! Mexico is still a very sexist country, to the point of costing lives. I am talking about the all too common Feminicidios.
In the Mexico City Metropolitan area homicides directly targeting women have been an issue and it has not been resolved or even mentioned in policy circles!
Although unrelated, Mexico City also seems to have an issue with LGBTQ+ rights overall, it does include unresolved hate crimes too.
Please let the world know that this is happening! Because it seems as if the only way we ever fucking change is through foreign pressure! Wonder if that reminds you of anything...
