I once saw an Audi RS6 here in Mexico, the avant. Which means that whomever imported it from europe is a real petrolhead.

I was talking about cars with some Canadian students that I do research with, and they didn’t get why I would prefer a wagon over a sedan or a hatchback. Are we that brainwashed into our European car culture? Or are they just plain wrong.

A little bit of both I guess? What would they drive over a wagon? A sedan or one of those C/SUV blobs? If it’s the first then they are just part of the “I can get everything delivered for peanuts” culture, if it’s the latter then it’s just perceptions about ride height.

Well, hard to argue against a Minivan when it comes to practicality. All other things considered though..... I guess that your fellow students are engineers as well, so I can understand them looking at a vehicle purely in terms of packaging.
