A man biting his fellow passengers on a JetBlue flight forced the plane to divert to Las Vegas, where the man was taken into police custody.
Passengers on the flight say that somewhere over Utah, the man suddenly began biting his seatmates – whom he apparently knew – and hitting others on a Sunday flight from Los Angeles International Airport to New York-JFK.
Bath salts or Zombie Apocalypse ? Better close the borders and airports just in case.

In my attempt to learn something new today, I started looking up minstrel stuff and learned that minstrel shows were specifically based on making fun of blacks. One of my favorite movies is White Christmas, which has a number referring to minstrel shows. Wikipedia says this about the movie:
White Christmas (1954), features a full-scale minstrel show number, but without blackface. The lyrics to the songs remove all suggestion that minstrel shows involved blackface, but retain many standard minstrel show features, including the roles of “Mr. Bones” and “Mr. Interlocutor”. The lyrics include the line “I’d pawn my overcoat and vest / To see a minstrel show “, which model the assumed careless and carefree nature of poverty. [ citation needed ]
Indeed, there is nothing the movie to refer to anything about race. I wonder why Berlin would have used such a racially-associated theme for a number in his production.
