Haven’t found a single photo where it doesn’t look good. Still haven’t seen a metallic pearl example, but a few silvers, and now this latest “steel” example in Seattle.
I assume any tint shop would just match the red of the two hatch lights and do a vinyl overlay.

Altezza lights only got ruined because every Accord in the early 2000s had horrible versions installed. It won’t be long before they’re cool again. Just be patient.
Can’t you find some new lenses online? Maybe $100 each, give or take? I always prefer to swap things vs making a permanent change.
In the meantime, make them into a chandelier.

The altezza lights have been truly ruined by cars whose style does not fit with the altezza aesthetic.
But also, LEDs instead of bulbs, esp with the rear blinkers, backup, and brake lamps! They are sooo much more cleaner
