Strange choice for a plow but given the state of the vehicle my guess is that economics were the primary factor. Its all there to do the job well, but I think its time for some new front springs;Its not like they are that expensive. you can buy stronger aftermarket springs 5 minutes away at the dealer right now for like $160 a pair.

You don’t have to. Lockers are almost always wasted on the trucks that never leave pavement. Seriously, almost every 80 I check in town here has lockers.

I remember watching in awe at the random madness with which the plow contractor at my last apartment building worked. It was completely insane. It took him easily ten times longer to plow the (not very big) lot than it should have, and it was still a horrible job. The building owner hired a different contractor the next year, thankfully.
