Nothing interesting by MB... Other than the fact that they bribed the transit officers so they can park their dealer inventory outside by the parking meters without paying!
This is why no one likes them!

Yeah, you’re right.. its jus that you get so used to it it becomes almost normal!
I’ve never bribed a cop, but around 50% of Mexican have admitted to doing so, just for you to know how common it is!
Worst thing is that it probably took 15 dollars a day for the bribe and the local government looses about 2.4 dollars* per day per car. Its not like BMW does any better, both park cars in their respective streets.
*: it has smart tariffs so it changes by the time of day, although I think it costs about 2.4 dollars to park a car for the 12 hours. Even if parking meters are 3 or 6 hour limited depending on the zone, you can just print a new one and no one will bat an eye.
Additionally, its a 50 dollar fine together with seizure of the car (which itself costs about 50 dollars plus a flat truck to take it out of the yard) if you don’t have your license plates or the permit showing.
I think one day they didn’t pay the bribe and all of the cars had been immobilized, it was quite funny.

What if the owner of the apartment building is actually paying Mercedes to park their cars there to make the place look more affluent. And ALSO paying the cops to look the other way. So the cops are double dipping.

I don’t think the building owner needs more affluence...
Polanco rent went up 18.5% from last year now... its insanely expensive. Its so expensive I wouldn’t be surprised if they had an actual fashion police and they’d ticket me for not being fashonable!
