New helmets are awesome. Just picked up a new one and am dying for racing season to return so I can go use it.

Side note: after trying this helmet in both a medium and a large and finding that the large felt smaller and more secure on my head than the medium I am never going to order a helmet without getting a chance to try it on first.

Same happened to me with my shoei rf1200 is a large at first it was snug but now it feels a bit loose after breaking it in.

It was just really strange that a fresh out of the box medium was too loose on me while the large was a tiny bit snug. The large feels like it is going to break in to be a perfect fit over a balaclava. Looking at the 2 side by side the medium was a smaller shell than the large but the foam in the large made it smaller on the head.

It was also interesting to note the differences between my old SA2005 helmet and the new SA2015s. The 2005 has comfort padding all around while the 2015 has the protective foam against the forehead, a design change as a result of SA2015 helmets being designed for the head and neck restraints.
