I’ve been wanting some more light in the garage for a while now. While cruising through Costco last week I saw they have 4 ft LED shop lights on sale for $20 each this month. I picked some up for the garage and it made an incredible difference.
Please excuse the mess. We have some projects the wife is finishing up.

Nice! I just have a pair of of 2-bulb fluorescents in mine, but I’m looking to replace them with 8 LED pairs. Hopefully Home Depot will put these on sale in response. You can’t pay me to suffer through Costco, especially this time of year. Even though the two are next door to each other.

That’s nice and bright, good price too.
I’ve got 2 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs, then three four foot sections of regular florescents underneath the shelves and over my work benches. Then it just so happened that work was throwing out three eight footers, bulbs and all, so I grabbed those and hung two up. I’m not sure where to put the third. I was wanting to upgrade to LED, but free is free.

If I hadn’t just picked up some free lights I’d be checking this out. With the Les you probably won’t have to ever turn them off either

That’s true. As you can see in the photo I tied them into the Light socket. I figured they are low power so they should be alright.

Those are pretty good, I put four of them in ours to assist the pair of 100W equivilent LED bulbs. Went from “I need to tilt this transmission to get the light to hit just right to read the 3/8 inch tall numbers.” to “I can read that from half way across the garage!”

If you don’t need the spot light over your tool box, just get an outlet cover plate and plug into that. It’s what I had done at my old house.
