Kinja'd!!!

Any opinions on the TSX V6? 280hp seems like a lot for a car this size.

4-cylinder 6-speed owner here. The V6 is faster in a straight line, but all reviews say it doesn’t handle as well as the K-powered version since it’s heavier up front. In general, I absolutely love the car.

“Car this size?” It’s a less ill-proportioned 9/10-scale Accord V6 tuned to run on premium.

Side note: I should get a set of those V6 18s.

Kinja'd!!!

I drive the older TL which is super similar. The 2nd gen TSX became about as big as the 3rd gen TL was (3gTL and 1gTSX are contemporaries) and the 4th gen TL is huge. I also have a very similar j series motor rated at only 270hp though.

I love it, but the 6 speed would make it a way better option, and you can’t get it on the 2nd gen TSX unless you get a 4cyl. So if you want a really well done Honda manual trans and the Brembos and standard LSD you should just get an older TL imo.

If you don’t mind the auto it’s basically just the same as the older TL but upgraded in a bunch of little ways.

Yeah. A car that size. 9/10 is still not 10/10 :P
