Hey, dude - thought you might be interested to see this. Got this a week ago, a 1967 Pexto 48"/22GA slip roll with its own table/cabinet. My metalworking toys list continues to grow...
I’m thinking the next is a throatless bench shear. Cheap, worthwhile, and I don’t have reliably straight cutting.

I don’t know anything about metalworking but that table looks badass! I am in need of some used car buying advice, would you mind posting to oppo for me? I wrote a post for a couple car subreddits that I’ll sum up for you if you don’t mind. I’ll reply to you here to take you out of the grey in my replies, and also to tell you that what you want to do is search for an authorship post. There’s one called “club openings”, and there’s also this one:

What you do is that you respond to an authorship post and request authorship, and one of the mods will grant it. If you don’t smell too bad.

There are plenty of people with authorship privileges on Oppo who post heavily elsewhere. It’s fine to request authorship even if you’re not in much.

The only thing so far that I know for a fact I’ll use it on is the front edge repair pieces for the Lincoln’s hood. Anything past that is gravy. Mostly, I just figured I needed one about the time a friend of my dad was cleaning out his shed. $100.
