After a full review of all the parts we think we will need for the restoration, we learn that the bulkhead was too heavily corroded to use. I find a good candidate in the UK. This bulkhead has been cut right above the tunnel and the foot wells. This way I can airfreight the bulkhead at a reasonable price. So off comes the roof, front windscreen and everything attached to the bulkhead.

Everything must go!! The only pieces of the body that are not being replaced is the roof, wing tops, and front fenders. Everything else will be new metal. Five new doors were purchased. These are not rebuilt doors. These are brand new doors ordered directly from Paddocks in the UK. The only pieces from each door that carried over to the new door was the glass. Every seal, window regulator, window winder, water shedder, door handle and over 50 other items per door are all brand new. The rear door is also brand new, but came sealed and glazed.
