Why does the drawing have so many stupid lines
The worst part is how the rear glass actually overhangs the taillights. I’ve seen it on a few other newer SUVs and it gives the greenhouse too much visual weight.

Look, I’m not an engineer (yet!) but those vents look barely big enough to cool the Penta v6, let alone the big boy HEMI.
Plus it looks a lot like the new compass grille and in china you get taxed by the size of the engine... if that car goes on sale I can only suspect a turbo’ed four banger... that lower opening looks great for an intercooler, yo.

It doesn’t take a ton of opening to cool any of those motors. Those lower grilles are plenty to keep a radiator fed, especially with modern electric fans.

The compass is the most recent evolution of the Jeep styling language, so it would make since that the next product would follow suit. The total grille area really isn’t any smaller than the current GC’s is.

The filing says it’ll be powered by a 4-pot. I’d be more inclined to say it’s a stretched Cherokee rather than a Durango
Plus they have the GC which is on that platform already

I don’t like it. But this is just me....
It looks as if they had a design based off the Durango. After completing the design, they realized this thing needs to seat 7.
So they stretched the front and back by adding metal tumors.
That messes up the proportions and makes this look like a slightly lifted minivan.

I see it now!
It is slightly better.
But I think that entire SUV should end after the D pillar. That extra window/metal/extension is very unappealing.
Same goes for the front. It looks too bulbous on both ends.
