The garbage picked beast lives!
My buddy here is a small engine master. A cleaning of the carb, and an adjustment to the fuel float is all it took. It surges a bit and will ultimately need the exhaust manifold gaskets redone, but that can wait until spring. Everything works except for the electric starter. Even the headlights work!

I was just thinking about you guys & possibly the gambler next year. If my jeep is drivable if that would be allowed?

Everything is allowed at the Gambler. Any 4x4 is automatically considered a rescue/recovery vehicle, but all people and vehicles are welcome.

Hells yeah! I have a feeling we’re going to have a brutal winter (we’ve had two mild winters in a row, so what are the odds we’ll get a third?), so this beast will be perfect to have.

There were a bunch of them. The Illinois group was talking about doing a 1-day event in the St. Louis area right after Thanksgiving, but that ended up not happening.
Yeah, it is mostly on FB. It’s sucked me back into that world.
