Drool worthy “Silver Sled” 900 for your time.
Just bought a pair of skis I’ve been eyeing up for a year. Might have bought the last pair of this year model in my size AND for $170 less than next closest site. Very excited and hoping it wasn’t too good to be true.
Aren’t they sexy?

Sweet ski’s. I haven’t done it in years ( I started but then hurt my knee in gym class my senior year of high school (indoor soccer and bigger guy equaled knee going sideways. I dislocated my kneecap, partially tore my MCL and fractured my tibia. This also left bone fragments though which I had to get scoped out last year.).
I’m too scared to do anything to my knee again. I also dig that Saab and appreciate how the three spokes actually work well on it.
Also as a public health major I recommend wearing a helmet. Happy skiing!

Do you brother. Yeah, I’m pumped for them though - not only do they fit what I need, but...most skis are just hideous and these could freaking get hung on my wall

I can’t say most boards are hideous but I can totally understand the issue with ski design.
Those look quite excellent, and last time I checked K2 was pumping out excellent gear.

Bummer. I hear you. Amazing to me how many football and soccer players that I grew up with/am friends with now who say they can’t ski because of lingering knee injuries. Good thing I was a baseball player?
Admittedly, I’ve never worn a helmet while skiing for...hmm...17 years now? No rea reason. However, guy from my hometown little league team died in VT from head trauma earlier this year. Freaked me out. Helmet will now become standard.

I’ve always drooled over board designs. Was at REI recently and saw a ton of straight up wood and wood grain designs. Verrrrrry nice.

Yeah, those are amazing, I never actually got to own my own board (Mexico has no ski resorts shamefully) but I’ve ridden all kinds!, mostly I like long boards so that I can go really fast! But I was taught using a really short board because supposedly those are more maneuverable.
