The Mrs. decided that rather than stay home with the kiddo she’d rather stick with the full-time company-car-included gig so we can maybe buy a larger domicile. Therefore, this lovely Swede is no longer necessary. ‘Twas nice while it lasted.

The general consensus is the 2.5t offers better around town driveability than the T5. There’s no perceptible boost lag and plenty of low end grunt. It runs out of steam on the higher end of the rev range, but it has more than enough power to keep a smile on your face. And it doesn’t drive like a heavy car at all, but that might just be me since my regular driver weighs in at 6,750 pounds with me in the seat.

About a week after buying this one, I found a previous-generation T5 5-speed with similar mileage and just as nice for $2,500. D’oh!

You just HAVE to be on the wrong side of the Rockies... Then again, I’d BOLO for an AWD Volvo if I were to get back into the hot springs of Volvo ownership.
