Like with most fiberglass bodies, paint starts cracking after 20 years or so... So my father recently stripped out the entire car and it’s going to paint on Friday for its second repaint (not too bad for a 45 year old one). He should get it back... IN MARCH! How long does a repaint take?? Anyway, no snow driving this year for this one...

My father bought it in 1976... I spent my whole life with it. I love it dearly. But the day I’m getting it, I’m moving that seat rail further back by 20cm... There’s lots of space for more legroom but the damn seat rail is installed too close from the steering...
Feels like an AZ-1 in there...

In seriousness though - you’re somewhat taller though, aren’t you? I’m about 170cm (5' 7") so I at least find I fit in most things. :)

Considering that the house I grew up in was located 3km outside of a 500 inhabitants village, there wasn’t much of a “block” haha

You should watch the French episode of Paul Hollywood’s Big Continental Road trip. Watching him get in an A110 really cracked me up, it took him like a few minutes to fold himself in there.

Apparently restoration guys really take paint seriously. My boss wanted to repaint his 911, and came up with a similar timeline.
For some reason I love the way those bumper mounts are molded into the body. It’s so backwards, but actually pretty clever.

I’d assume Honda, but it might as well be a Mercedes S600 for this 5' 4" guy.
