I quit watching Doug’s videos when he stopped talking about the cars he bought and more of random cars at dealers. I don’t give a shit about the “quirks” an Aventador has, tell me about that S-cargo you bought. Oh you only made 4 videos about that car?

Yeah, I miss the personal car videos. Those were much better. Even the Viper didn’t have enough videos and I wanted to see stupid shit in that car happen. Like “I took my Viper Off-Roading”

I only watch it it’s a car I think is interesting, same with Leno. I never watch the motorcycle videos Leno has and if it’s some normal supercar I don’t.

A guy near me DDs that to the ferry building to commute to SF, so he probably only drives it a couple miles to that lot. But I see it a lot. Oh but not a Brabus with douchey wheels, a real G with offroad tires.

So I asked, he said he’d much prefer to do weird niche videos, but most of his youtube viewers prefer the stuff he does now- modern cars, expensive cars, supercars, etc etc, and since he has access or can get access to them, its not a bad deal.
His work with AT is separate from YouTube which he runs and manages personally. If it’s a particularly negative video, AT won’t share it but Doug still does it to express his opinion.
