Doesn’t really sound like a fuel pump, sounds like a door/gate buzzing open. It happens randomly, when I turn the car of and lock the doors, when I unlock the doors and get into the car, when it starts, all at random.

this one day i was driving to work in the Allroad and suddenly heard a really F’ed up noise. It took me a while to realize it was the commuter train and not the car.

Not really. I’m guessing it’s related to either the speakers or the parking sensor beep thing, as it likes eating those.
