They just flood easier in colder weather, but I’ve seen them do it in warm climates too.
The funnest times of the year was the late February-Early March auto show in Milwaukee. Every year Mazda would bring an RX-8. And every year we (the closest dealer) had to send a tech over to de-flood it and get it running because someone at the show started and turned it off before it burned off all the fuel in the housings.

That’s wild! I love the facelifted RX-8s, but they don’t seem to be worth the hassle. Smooth engine, great chassis, but no thanks. FC or FD though...
