The team used a CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC AWD EX model as the foundation for this project, removing everything inside except for the dashboard, while adding a bespoke roll cage, racing seats and harnesses.

A car in this segment is not competitive without a diesel option (or two, three), in Europe. Especially a few years ago.

Civic also. Used to be a diesel Accord, when the Accord was still sold in Europe.
