Hit a pothole tonight. Instantly alarms went off saying tire pressure was low. I stopped intermittently and refilled air... but it was not holding much. Eventually hobbled home. Saw the bend in the rim.... This is going to be essspensive

Can’t just get one front tire... need both so thread is even. Then I have to either buy new rim or get this one straightened.

Fuck you, NYC. Legalize heroin and cocaine already so you can fix the roads

I feel like the perfect city car is a 2-door electric Wrangler. Large tires to absorb potholes and curbs, short wheel base, compact, and beefy bumpers. Plus at city speeds aerodynamics don’t play nearly as large of a role.

I feel like the only safe way to traverse the city is this:

Call your insurance company, depending on your deductible and coverages they may help you fix everything.

Of course they will help. Then jack my rate through the roof and I’ll be paying for a 200 dollar rim for years to come.

Fuck insurance companies. Fuck em. I only have insurance because it is required and in case I hit someone. Otherwise... fuck em

I can just see myself parallel parking my tank between a smart car and a prius

Tanks are slightly thirsty so your commuting costs are likely to raise a bit. German Königstiger (weighing ~68 ton) was reported to consume 500 l/100km with narrow transport tracks and 700 l/100km with wide combat tracks. But the large Maybach V12 does sound awesome.

see... most people think I must drive on road....

Shortest distance between two points is a straight line. In a tank, it is doable. So sure... 500L per 100km... but if you go straight, you optimize so its probably around same MPG/KMpL as a v8 GM car... plus or minus a few cups
