Time to find the old 360. I’ve played some of these before (on the PC), but not others, so I think I got my money’s worth.

It says ‘Game Disc’ on it, so I may not be able to play it until I find the other disc. And I probably need to upgrade to a larger HD as I think the 20GB unit on mine is pretty full...

I ended up getting my 360 a year or two before the XBone was released. I coughed up for the collector’s edition of Halo 4 when it came out and got so many hours out of that game it wasn’t even funny. The more important thing is that I got to play Forza 4, which I wasted so many hours on compared to Halo 4.
I still need to fix my OG Xbox’s power button so I can power it on properly. I’ve had a hankering to go back and play some Underground 2 and Quantum Redshift.

My PlayStation borderlands only has one disc. What would another disc be for?

How did you manage to get all that for $1?!

Goodwill store, in a CD case. I have another one full of PS3 games that I got at the Goodwill Outlet for $0.99/lb, so I probably have about $0.60 in that collection...

Your Playstation Borderlands disc is probably Blu-Ray

Some games have separate install and play discs. The 360 uses DVDs whereas the PS3 uses Blu Ray, so it’s possible to get the entire game on 1 disc on the PS3.

I’ve got both, but not necessarily for gaming. The 360 was a freebie since it was dead (RROD - red ring of death). It was covered under warranty, so I got a replacement for the price of shipping.
I bought the PS3 because I needed a Blu Ray player that could do composite output (I know, sounds like a waste, but I had my reasons). A used PS3 wasn’t much more than a Blu Ray player that would work in my particular scenario, so I just spent the extra $20 to get a better machine; that it plays games was of secondary concern.

All makes sense. Gaming consoles are great for so many things these days.

Agreed, especially with some of the apps for XBOX. There is now a YouTube.tv app....eliminates the need for a Chromecast, and the channel guide works with my remote like a standard cable box. Using my phone can get a bit annoying sometimes.
