Looks sweet! And my garage:

Used 2008 Bullitt Mustang: $20k-$25k

New Elantra GT Turbo: $27k for the manual

Yeah, might be a bit over, but Canadian dollars don’t go as far American dollars.

Given the choice between two cars adding up to 50k, or spending that same money on building said garage with shop: give me the damn garage. I’ll drive my longbed until I croak if I can get a bigly garage out of the deal.

That house addition seems smart. You’re 2 car picks are too practical.

My car, $22k

yea i’d trade the WRX for a Lotus any day if i didn’t have to potentially get kids in the back seat

But I have 4 cars. If I get two more imaginary ones my wife will start wanting another dog.

For a daily driving/multipurpose car, it’d have to be a Ford Transit Connect. God, I love the modern Transit Connects. The one I specced out is about $28,000.

I don’t know what I’d use the rest of the budget on... maybe an older Forte Koup.

I’d think bigger. There’s not much more material needed to get a garage a foot or two or six wider and deeper, but it’s massively worthwhile. No worries about friendly-fire door dings, more room to put and use a floor jack, future-proofing for the eventual 4-post lift, plus room to store and use toolboxes and tools. My “2-car” garage is too narrow to fit both of our daily cars (Mazdas) without an acrobatic routine for one of them to get in/out, and when a car is in the garage, there’s not enough room to fully open my tool chest’s drawers and be in front of it between the car and box. I tried storing the box on the side wall but it 1) got really dirty/dusty, 2) wet garage door dripped on it, and 3) it monopolized space better served by shelves. I’d love the garage to just be 2 or 3 feet bigger in each dimension (except down, unless the floor stays on the same plane, in which case yes, because cieling space = potential car loft space!).

There has to be a better daily for 25k. Like a Charger

1. 2014 Mini Cooper Clubman $24k

1.5 1992 Suzuki Cappuccino $7k

2.0 1987 Suzuki Alto R $8k

Boat hanging on the ceiling or wall. 2017 BBG Olimpia X Single 10k

Kei cars count as half cars right?

The problem is I still need a car for my wife. These are all for me.

yea, thats why i had the Flex on my list. that would be for the wife. I’m sure she’d i’d love the 360 hp. If you can fit the two kei cars in one bay i’ll allow it. The boat doesn’t have to hang on the wall, the guy actually lives on the side of what I almost consider a cliff. its about 20' down to the lake but its damn steep. he even has a small dock, but no boat.

That is awesome, I can row the lake then. (If it is big enough.)

Too small.

Note: This would probably always be the answer, even if I had a garage the size of Jay Leno’s warehouse or the Sultan of Brunei’s expansive collection.
