The rear molded carpet sections for the 2019 GM full-size extended cab trucks weigh slightly over 6kg. Also, 2019 Corvettes have a lot of sound deadening compared to a Bolt, but you could have guessed that. Also, 2019 Explorers have different carpet trim for the bench seat version in the Chinese market.

Wow that is riveting information. The 2019 Corvette has more sound deadening than the Bolt you say? How do the 2018 Corvette and Bolt compare is what I want to know.

Well, the Bolt’s pan is extraordinarily flat. It clearly “looks FWD” even when one doesn’t know the specifics. The Corvette, on the other hand, has seat and footwell pockets that are like buckets. Very tall (though surprisingly narrow) tunnel, and very abnormally tall sides - like, 6" from the sill to the floor.
