So for Christmas I am likely going to be receiving some parts for my AR15 build. I am considering building the gun white. But I can’t figure out which parts I want to be white. So my photoshop request is as follows:
If someone could please make the following items black:
1. Upper Receiver
2. Lower Receiver
If someone could please make the following items white:
1. Mag
2. Pistol Grip
3. Butt Stock
It would be great if I could visualize it. Also anyone know of good BIUS sights? I plan on running those for a while before buying a full scope. I would like to be able to zero the sights at different yardage so Matech seems like an obvious choice but I wasn’t sure what else to consider.

I’ve got the Magpul flip up sites on mine and they have been fine. I’m looking to add an optic but I’m trying to decide if I want something like an EOtech or something with a little magnification. There are so many damn options for these rifles!

The amount of optics one can buy are truly amazing. Can you adjust the zero on the Magpul optics or not? I have only had bolt action hunting rifles and shotguns so I am a little new to the iron sight game.

Yes you can. I haven’t messed with mine yet because I recently needed to qualify for the rifle range at my new club and the sight is just ever so slightly low and left at 100yds. So I figured I’d qualify and then get to fine tuning.

I’ve got an EOTech 1-6x on mine that is awesome. At 1x its basically the standard EOTech ring with a tiny plus instead of the center dot. As you zoom in the plus zooms to be a hatched cross hair with a center dot. There are definitely cheaper options though.

I don’t have the skills to do this..
However, my 2 cents: I wouldn’t use a white pistol grip because dirt. The lighter upper and lower are cool; I’d love them in a matte natural aluminum color. I wonder why there are so few colors when it’s just aluminum and colored anodizing is pretty common.

Anyone who owns a gun is someone to worry about. Someone who owns a gun for purposes of shooting holes in pieces of paper is 100% more likely to own a gun than someone who doesn’t own a gun.

Thanks that does help some! I think I might prefer the original picture more actually.
And I agree I think it is funny how few colors are available. I figured white would be more common but it seems tan, black, green, and grey are the default options anything else has to be custom made or painted.
I had not considered the dirt on the pistol grip but that is a good point.

I have one of those with a standard post up front. It works pretty well. I group better with that peep than with my red dot.

EOTechs are nice and all, but I’d take a vortex red Dot over it anyway. Less to worry about and just as easy to magnify. SparcAR is about a third of the cost and 90% of the capability.

I’ll have to double check dex count. I do have 7 legitimate shinies though, have gotten pokerus twice, and have multiple level 100s including my baby Tyranitar.
If you ever want pokerus I’ll give you some.

I have no shinies. My friend who played less than me (since quit all together) has multiple. I have 8 or 9 100%. I quit checking IVs on common mon and either dump them for can’t or hoard and dump for lucky egg evolves. 248/251 for caught/seen. Almost halfway through level 35. Haven’t played as much in the past couple months because I’ve been too busy with work.

There is an inherent risk to guns. Just because someone who owns a gun “isn’t bad,” doesn’t mean they can’t or won’t do something bad with that gun at some point. It is possible for a Good Guy With A Gun™ to do bad things with guns.

The only way for gun owners to fully guarantee they won’t do something bad with a gun is to rid themselves of their guns.
There is no compelling reason that justifies mass private gun ownership in this country, and we would be better off as a society if the vast majority of gun owners weren’t gun owners.

All risks are not the same.
Guns are much riskier than many other things, like balloons, and lollipops, and kitchen knives.
The fact that things other than guns are also capable of killing people does not mean that guns are any less capable of killing people, and it says nothing about why people should be allowed to own guns.
It doesn’t matter if you think guns are cool, or you think you’re going to shoot a hypothetical bad person and stop them from doing bad things, or that the Second Amendment exists.
The simple fact is the specific risks posed by guns can be mitigated by less people owning guns.
