Just when I was resigned to despair, I found a shop in Oregon that has no website but can sell me both cam towers for the 5MGE that lives in the Cressida, and they are on the way. But they also discovered a cracked manifold, so eBay saves the day.
It is so fun when you find what you need, and I have been on roll lately. The holy grail is the bottom window rubber on the Sunchaser, which continues to elude me. I drove it I cold weather today. Not so bad with Targa on and windows up.
This means Cressida will be roadworthy before Xmas. Finding parts rules.
