It’s no LS, but this 350 will be bonkers when it’s done.

‘89 Wrangler. The 258 ate it in 1999 or so, and a junkyard 350 went in. He’s looking for at/over 450HP. It’s got all the goodies.

That sounds like a terrifying combination...fun...but terrifying

Looks awesome.
I almost can’t believe my eyes- somebody properly used AN fittings for their radiator hose and not the cheapass clamp ons. And not a mark on those hose ends. I tip my hat to him, good sir!

It’s ridiculous. With stock-size tires it put C5 Corvettes to shame. This is his third build I think.

I hate to say it but he used to have the clamp-ons haha. Also those AN wrenches are expensive!

Yeah, I slowly accumulated my AN wrench set. Started buying them once the house brand fittings came around. Their anodized finishes seem less durable.

With such a short wheel base and a higher center of gravity does he have problems keeping the front wheels on the ground?

Nah - Wranglers have pretty good weight distribution IIRC. I’m sure he could bounce it up, but he breaks traction before there’s any lift.

Me thinks he will be disappointed with the FItech fuel system.

450 Hp in a Wrangler? Wow.
What master mario said - sounds both fun and terrifying! !

How does he like the FiTech injection? And how does the fuel sump work? I have heard mixed reviews - some seem to love it and it is trouble free while others can’t seem to get it to work properly. I am trying to decide which direction to go on my Elco and fuel injection would be really nice.

No idea yet - he still needs to re-do his brake lines before getting out and trying it. I can tell you the fuel commander is enormous.

It’s a cool system. And that install looks great.
