Been forever since I drove a Skyline and always had a thing for the RWD R32... It doesn’t have the power of the GT-R but RWD shenanigans compensate!

Kinja'd!!!

And yeah it will be cleaned up too :)

Oh yeah?
Well I got amazing spreadsheets and presentations at work, and some nearly drinkable coffee.
Watcha say to that? Huh?

I never buy automatics unless they are luxobarges. You’ll never see me post an automatic sports car as long as I’m alive. :)

I hope hicas is disabled. It ruins a perfectly good car otherwise.

Gee, I just get to stay awake all night making sure all of our servers and network circuits stay up before business in the morning...

I haven’t checked yet but with the Hicas light being always on, my guess is that it’s disabled. I actually don’t mind it on GT-R... I don’t remember how it felt on GTS-T...

Sorry :) But yeah my work pretty much consist of driving many cars in the mountains (also doing a photoshoot and driving video of an AZ-1 tomorrow),taking pcitures and videos of said cars, editing and uploading them and talking about cars with customers on Skype or Facebook... I don’t even take care of the paperwork and shipping stuff... I am lucky.

I don’t know much about the hicas system, how does it ruin the car?

I’d do exceptions for super and hyper cars ifthat’s what you mean, but since they are quite a bit out of my budget, I most likely will never buy one... If I had the money, I’d spend it on a KPGC10, a Delta S4 or a Toyota 2000GT anyway... So no, I most likely never will buy an automatic sports car :)

they were probably fine brand new, but I’ve driven a few now where they’re unpredictable. Would have been better with a passive system imo

I’ve driven a couple now where it’s decision making as to when and how much was anybodies guess, probably something that can be fixed by servicing the system but it’s always made me uneasy. GT-R’s tend to be better maintained than GTST’s in my experience too.

Yep, GTS-T get beaten even worse than GT-R... Which is why I bought this one... Higher mileage but super good looking, timing belt changed twice and so on... A car that was cherished obviously :)

I never buy a car I can’t inspect in person before... it helps a lot not to end up with a beaten one...

I rarely buy Skyline because americans have driven prices up a lot and the market in the states doesn’T seem to follow the rise of prices in Japan anymore... But this one was cheap enough, and REALLY good for a car with with nearly 110.000 miles... So I bought it and it’s now for sale. Probably around 9k$, shipping to the US included...

so much want but probably lucky that I don’t have the £ for it right now, though keep being tempted by an import

Well, if you do get REALLY tempted one day, I ship to Southampton and I personally know a good broker there that does a great job with the import process :) (Used her services myself to ship something like 7 or 8 cars total from France to Japan through Southampton)

I need to unfollow your page on facebook otherwise that temptation will boil over and a purchase might happen... lol

my main issue (apart from lack of money) is I have no idea about the import process and what I have to do to get it registered to use on the road once it’s over here

they’re pretty solid, so 110k miles isn’t going to slow it down. Good luck with finding a buyer man. 9kUSD isn’t far off what they’re going for here in Aus so that’s a good deal.
