As a buckeye, I completely agree but there’s no excuse for the CFP committee picking Bama over Auburn or USC. USC would be interesting to see if they can contend with the other conferences or Auburn who is probably the best non conference champion. Or hell , I’d be okay with Wisconsin being in! But neither Ohio state or Bama deserved it

Just happy my Hawkeyes can claim to have kept Ohio State out of the playoffs. That, plus wins over ISU, Minnesota and Nebraska, almost allows me to forget that horrible loss to Purdue.

That really was a pathetic loss, and I’m glad I passed on that game.
However, I was at that OSU ass-beating and that was probably the greatest game I’ll ever witness at Kinnick.

I’ll get this out of the way first, I’m an Alabama fan. Having said that, I am so very torn as to who should’ve been selected. Either way, I think it’s ending up Clemson vs OU with the Championship being OU’s to lose. I do think that Bama will put up a better fight than OSU would, I do think that they wanted to see Bama vs Clemson 3.0, and I think the fact that the Big 10 hasn’t scored a point in the playoffs since OSU won definitely played into their thinking. Not that it should’ve, but it did.
I would’ve been fine letting OU and UGA battling it out for the right to play Clemson (who would have a bye) or just, for this season only, going back to the BCS.
