And here I thought the only vehicles anyone was willing to make room for one were Wranglers and pickup trucks (nothing beats the spare stowed in the Honda Ridgeline’s in-bed trunk, though).

I was already planning to look at one in a few years. This feature has moved it up the list of potential next vehicles for me.
Now that I have a short commute I’ll be looking for something fun yet practical for occasional longish trips. This has the specs on paper to satisfy those criteria.

Are you sure this is not a donut? My car has a full sized tire (on a 17” wheel), but a lot of people pull them because they’re heavy and take a lot of space.

I don’t think I ever said it was a full size. These days you’re hard-knocked to even find one with a compact donut.

If it’s not a run-flat and doesn’t have a repair gunk kit, it’s either a donut or a full-size spare. It may just be perspective, but the Stinger looks like it has a full size spare.
