Other than some bullshit moments in the game where normal difficult felt way too difficult (loads of enemies at all angles, not enough ammo), it’s a pretty solid game with a fun story. Would recommend. Looking forward to playing the next two remastered versions!

Dude you’re in for a treat, Uncharted 2 and 3 are so much better than first game in every way: story’s better, combat’s more fluid, gameplay’s more kinetic, basically everything’s been vastly upgraded and improved. There’s a reason they’re commonly cited as two of the best PS3 games. I’ll highly recommend the 4th game as well, it was written and directed by the dudes who did the Last of Us and while it’s understandably darker and more moody, it’s my personal favorite in the series.

Oh thank goodness. I spent a good part of the frustrating points of the game going “two and three have to be better”. And the story being better? You’re giving me high hopes. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and dialogue in the first game.

I played these for the first time maybe 4-5 years ago. I agree. Generally very good for an older game. I found there were some corny moments in the first game, but the polish of 2 and 3 solves all of it.

I remember playing through one of them because it came with the PS3. It was a lot of fun.
I’m working my way through the Assassins’ Creed games, I just started Brotherhood the other day and picked up a whole bunch of them in the Thanksgiving Steam sale.

I love the Uncharted series so much, especially the little touches like Nathan’s journal. The 3rd one bothers me in some story aspects, but I love every other little bit of it. I am still one of those people who believe the 2nd is one of the best games ever written and executed.

I actually dusted of the PS3 and started a new game of Uncharted. I was quickly reminded of the ammo situation. I actually kind of like it though, because so many games give you so much ammo you basically have endless clips and have to think about it. This is a little bit closer to reality.

Yeah, it was a piss off at some points (such as never having enough revolver ammo to make it worth carrying one, and some of the larger gunfights), but it made sense.

Your head is going to explode with WHOA like 2 minutes into Uncharted 2. It’s a better game in every way.
