Some typical sights from a tiny Sicilian hill town perched atop a rocky crest (Castelmola):

First, the old road up to the town. The new road is similar in shape but is fully paved and has guardrails, which is nice.

Kinja'd!!!

Next, a familiar shape slowly traversing the stone streets.

Kinja'd!!!

And finally, on the walk down, I found the most pristine body panels I saw on any car in all of Sicily, funnily enough

Trabi. Never seen one in quite such a yellow shade of yellow before.

Also, Mk1 Panda. The Mk1 Panda is still one of the most common cars in Italy.

This post also proves my contention that the Mk1 Panda is ubiquitous in Italy.

If you need to go somewhere more challenging, the Panda 4x4 has you covered.

Italy is full of wonders we don’t see in Australia. I saw an Avantime over there. Blew me away

Mk1 Pandas everywhere, slowing down traffic.
