has tasked me with a pretty difficult task:
This is the only blue LS-F I could find for around 25k.
However it is way over the 100k mark. Damn, these things seem to hold their value much better than the E9X M3.
We also find this 2017 Subaru Limited for 29k.
Two cars that pretty much fit the bill.
So look for some future posts as we help OpposResidentLexusGuy look for his next car. Going to try to find that elusive Lexus IS-F because oppo needs more V8 performance sedans.

Gracias . We all know I’m going to end up waiting like 6 more months before I actually pull a trigger anyways but hypotheticals are fun.
This manual vs auto debate is killing me though. Traffic is turrrrbible near me, but in the other side, Manuel.

I’d go with an auto in your case. Might as well buy a car you mostly love than a car you eventually hate, because a performance car in traffic may not be fun.

I waited like 9 months after I started my job to buy my E90. When I was ready to start, it took me 2 months of car shopping everyday to find the M3 I bought. When the right one popped up, I was ready to pull the trigger.
On that, I can’t tell you. The times I’ve liked having a manual far outweighs the times I’ve wished I was in an auto.

I think they parked it there to prevent the owner from having the a tow truck take it without the guy paying for what work they have done. Warning on these - the break job is somewhere around $1200. Nearly a grand in parts alone.

I don’t know on length but they’re Brembos so $200 a corner just for parts makes sense. I can ask my dad when people are coming in. They get a quote for $1200 from him and can’t give their money fast enough because Lexus charge so $1400+

Not my car but I can shoot him a few questions if you have any. Generally anything north of 400hp is more than enough for most people, but having something nice and torquey is enough to have some fun. I dont imagine it is too happy on fuel though, as I believe its in the same league as the W204 C63s.

I tend to be fairly easy on brakes. I thought the brakes were the same between the regular and f sport TBH.

Nope. 6 piston Brembo I think(maybe 4) on the F Sport. Normal Lexus brakes on the normal GS.

I have an 09' IS-F with 160kms on it (australia). Love it and do reccomend. The only thing to worry about is the water pump. Just change it at 135km. I also have an E39 M5 as back up, but even if I didn’t the shift on the 8 speed in manual mode is solid. Flex lock up on torque converter. Also rev matches on down shift. Quality car. Love it.

Me buying the ISF I said would be 6 months. Which gives you about 10 days at the same pace to get the E34 M5.
