Have some AC/DC for your Friday night. No reason. I am a bit afraid that I might have missed my window to take my son to see them live. It’s something I wanted to do, but they have lost so many members.

that said.... seeing the replacements should still be pretty good

I saw the band the last time they came to my state (back in 1995!) and then for the second time 2 years ago (a bit farther away). At that point Malcolm had already gotten ill, and Phil got wrapped up in his legal issues. Chris had been awesome behind the drum kit in the Razors Edge days, and was the logical choice to sub in for Phil. I was fine with Stevie subbing for Malcolm (many folks don’t know he did the same in the 80s when Malcolm was battling alcoholism for a bit).
I felt even then that Rock or Bust was likely to be the final album and tour with Malcolm being out permanently with his health issues. Now that Brian’s future with the band is uncertain as well, it really feels like it is time the band retires.
AC/DC has been my favorite group since I discovered them in junior high. I’d rather see them retire on a good note than try to drag on as some kind of shell of the former glory.
