Alternator on the Lexus replaced. 3.5 hours in the book. I got it done in 3. I’ll chalk that one up as a win.

sometimes it’s good. On that very Lexus, they would pay me 6.0 hrs. to pull the dash and replace the sound trap/ Evaporator drain grommet...
... all I did was lower the trans a bit, reach up near the bell housing, and pull it off completely lol.
Did a buuuunch like that til Lexus updated the repair procedure to do that same hack for 0.5 hrs.

Yep. It had to come off for alternator anyways, so I threw a new one on as well.
