Yeah that’s a real good looking Mustang. My wife wants one just like that for a fun car.

I know that feeling well. Five years on, when I drive it or just look at it, I smile and keep thinking that I’m the luckiest guy around to have the car that I do. The silliest part is that I never felt this way with the BMWs, Porsche or the Benz. And we’re not talking about anything sexy, but a base-model minivan...

Have you named her yet?

I love Piglet but this time of year it’s too cold to do much and people keep scraping and scuffing the car in car parks.

Had to polish a large white scuff which I was hoping would be paint transfer but unfortunately is has taken some paint and gone down to the plastic on the bumper. It’s black plastic so you can’t see it but I know it’s there.

I don’t name cars. If I’m honest I think it’s weird, but you do you.

My car’s paint is terrible , but from 10 feet away it looks fine.

Beggars can’t be choosers in the used market. I’ve considered a wrap, but I don’t want to spend that much.

I’ve had two, they’re fantastic cars.

Piglet is called because the licence plate reads pigly.

95% of people I know name their cars but ye’, 5% do think it’s odd or just don’t do it.

My paint is fine, except where people think they car use theirs to hit mine.

I usually just end up referring to my cars by some form of their actual name. I jokingly called my Sonic the Sanic because one time in an online game I was killed by a dude with display name “SanicDaHedgeguy” and it made my friends and me laugh really hard. My Ecoboost Mustang usually was referred to as “the boostang” and my GT is just...my Mustang.

usually you don’t name your own car, a family member or friend names it and then it sticks. That’s how our custom “Miss Taboo” was named. Guy who was customizing it in 1958 (car is a 1956) had his dad come out madder than hell that he was cutting up a practically new car, told him it was taboo to do such a thing and the name has stuck ever since.

I told you, you just need a good paint correction detail.

Look at the difference. This my black truck, in this pic the fender has already been polished, the hood has not been polished. They both had the same marring and swirls.

I did. Problem is the paint is COVERED in rock chips. It’s far worse off than a correction will fix. The paint looks significantly better than when I bought the car, but it’s still bad.
