answer: you can’t see the uniforms because of something called “camouflage”, which is a pattern of colours and shapes used to trick your brain. It is not in fact a cloak of invisibility like harry oppotter uses

Yes. It is called clothing and sales. Has uniforms, awards, and some military related souvenirs (water bottles, coins, plaques). Etc. Need some uniforms? I have tons of old ACUS and some brand new multicam medium blouses.

If you went there to buy a Gen III, Level IV wind jacket, how much would it cost? And is all the pattern the same, or is there also a desert pattern?
Also, when they prescribe the uniform for a given formation or activity, to they prescribe Level IV, for example? And that means you have to have on the Level III underneath?

I got out in 1990 and to this day, I have dreams where I’m back, there’s a formation happening soon, and I can’t find my soft cap and I’m asking where Clothing & Sales is and can I walk there and buy my had without getting jammed up on the way.

I’d check ebay or an Army surplus store near a base. You’re bound to find one cheaper. People find, steal, or don’t have them listed on their clothing record and hock them.

Unfortunately for you, they won’t sell without an active military ID (99% sure) for issue items. I would take the advice of DC3 and check ebay. I’ve never been anywhere cold enough where they don’t just specify which exact uniform to wear IRT cold weather gear, and the only time that has been specified was for a parade/ceremony.
I keep an extra PC in my car, at my desk, and in my backpack. I have always been worried about losing my PC or forgetting it. I never actually have, but a handful of times I’ve helped a friend out who forgot theirs or only had a helmet.
I get out in exactly a month now, so I hope I don’t have those paranoia episodes in the future!
