Yeah. It’s complicated, though.
Weirdly, a couple folks I knew through autocross were the biggest complainers about that Miata piece last year, and well, you know how nasty that got. Somehow, a few people took an article about the wider cult of a car and all the reasons why I decided it wasn’t for me personally, and then got super-personal with insults back at me. (Never mind that nearly everyone rags my cars all the time, but apparently can’t take being on the receiving end. Or that I’m pretty supportive of driving whatever the hell you want, as the wider body of my work is all about that. But I digress!!!)
I can’t hold a couple toxic folks against the wider group, but I also don’t want to even be around folks who let loose with what they apparently

thought of me when they had the chance. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
I do suck at autocross, though, and would love to do it more, but...IDK.
