Finally got to see one in person. Looks cool, probably my favourite large sedan for sale currently.
this was okay too I guess.
Seriously though, McLaren worked magic on this car. With the proportions and subtle changes that don’t show well in photos it looks wildly different to their older cars, to me at least.
Also yay! Oppo stickers came. Thanks @wurst_case_racing. Buy here.

At the combined Rolls Royce Aston Martin Volvo McLaren dealership lmao. I walked past a DB11 and a V12 Vantage to take a photo of a Volvo. I probably looked insane

It’s a good looking car.
Well proportioned and elegant styling.
Nice simple, clean dashboard.
The lack of a manual as it’s automatic only is a major let down and off putting.

Eh it’s a big comfy car that’s much better suited to being automatic imo. I would imagine that even in Europe, the vast majority would sell as autos even if a manual was available.
The real let down is the death of the glorious Yamaha V8 of the last generation :(

Here it’s more the small to medium size engines.
More and more are going auto only.
I gave in with the auto handbrake but I don’t want to give up changing gears too.
There’s only much change I can do.
I’m still getting used to an Android Blackberry from my BB Blackberry.

When I first pulled up behind one on the road I thought it was a newer Lincoln. Was very surprised it was a Volvo, but unimpressed overall, as least from the angles I saw it from... Front end pics look great though.
