So these are a few of my favorite cars on display at the SF Auto Show. Two are part of the Academy of Real Estate...cough... I mean Art, and the other is obvi. In other M37 news I paid the dude and the bill of sale is notarized and sent. We only have to arrange the shipper now. Hopefully ship at the end of the week!

My favorite part of the Academy of Art display was the “design by the decades” section where you have these vintage cars and then there’s a random New Edge Mustang and 2nd gen CL right out of the local Craigslist.

I like how a real estate scam masquerading as an art school has a car collection, supposedly for design inspiration.

**I am really impressed that I spelled masquerading correctly, I glanced at it expecting the spell check red underline.

Tell me about it. It’s a pretty open secret at this point. You also can’t forget the multitude of half-empty “student shuttles” running across town on a semi-regular basis.

Their athletic slogan is “Be artist, be athlete” which says a lot about their attitudes to education. I guess you can’t buy indefinite articles like the word “an” when you’re trying to grab as many classic cars and large buildings.

I’m still kicking myself for not getting a chance to visit their car collection in person when I had the chance. My friend talked me into a free art seminar during the summer before college but I went off to orientation the week my auto design seminar went to the collection.

A prewar Continental is even more stunning, and all are equally unreliable - the flathead V12 was known to be a hot mess.

Could be why I see a very nice one for $24k... I thought they would be very expensive.
